What to remove

  • Customer names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, account IDs.
  • Exact timestamps (convert to relative sequence), IPs, device IDs.
  • Order numbers or ticket IDs that map to customers.
  • Any free-text with personal anecdotes or locations.

What to keep

  • Issue category, product/feature involved (generic names preferred).
  • Resolution steps, response times (rounded), outcome (resolved/escalated).
  • Sentiment tags and severity.
  • Environment hints (OS/browser) without unique device IDs.
